top five character traits: MUSICAL: Emmaline is a very musical person, she loves to play the flute, and is in the orchestra. She has a love for classical music and musicals.
SHY: Emma is a very shy and reclusive kind of a person, she isn't the type to strike up a conversation without some form of pushing or a reason behind it. Despite being shy, she is quite a warm person. Once you know who she is, and she gets to know you and be comfortable around you, she can be very friendly and sweet. It's just making her feel comfortable that can be hard.
DELICATE: Emma is quite delicate, she's not strong and she is pretty naive, therefore it can be very easy to 'break' her. She does have her strong moments, but not many of them. She is quite dainty in size and shape, and therefore looks as if she may break at any moment.
PROTECTIVE: She is pretty protective of her siblings. She tries to help them as much as she can, and often tries to baby them. She however can't fight their battles for them, mostly because she can't really fight her own.

history: Born in Dublin, to Aoife and Seamus, Emmaline is the eldest of the 3 girls, and the only baby to be born in Ireland. Soon after Emma's first birthday, the Gallagher's decided to up and move to America - Georgia to be precise. They had it tough to begin with, Seamus found it hard to find a job, but soon enough he found a job in the local police station. A little while after Emma's second birthday, the middle girl was born.
By Emma's 5th birthday there were a total of 3 girls, and Aoife and Seamus wanted to keep it at that. When Emma was 5, some rich great uncle of theirs died, leaving Seamus and his family all his money since he had no family of his own. They were able to buy a decent house and car, and afford to send the girls to Rosewood Academy.
Emma once when she was very little got herself locked in the shed they had, and no one could find her till the next day, this left her with a fear of the dark and small spaces due to the amount of time she spent in that shed and the monsters she imagined in there as a child.
Emma didn't really enjoy primary school, despite not having an accent she did have a funny surname and she was never a social butterfly. She tended to shy away from people and towards music. Music was always her favourite subject. Her mother introduced her to the instrument she plays now. She was intrigued by the instrument and though not an easy instrument to play, she took lessons and after years of playing is now at a rather good level of playing.
When it was time for Emmaline to decide where she wanted to go to school, she was tempted to go to the local High School, but eventually decided to go to the Academy, since they had the money to send all 3 siblings. Emmaline is generally quite smart, but she does tend to fall behind in her studies, especially the sciences. She has just about managed to maintain a gpa of 3.7 but she is looking to higher it if she wants to go to college. [/size]
