history: Oliver had a good childhood. He brought up to be bold and a protector, provider. He had a sense of honor and a dedication to his family. While his father was over seas, his mom made sure he understood the niceties of life.
He went to Columbia RoTC with the coast guard and met the girl of his dreams in his biology class, Lucy. They acted through college and got married and moved out to California. She got pregnant and the two prepared for a family. Oliver tried to get a job at the local high school and things were looking up.
Mike was born prematurely but healthy. Lucy suffered from depression after the baby and took up swimming to relax. Unfortunately she drowned in a sudden storm, leaving Oliver with their son.
He and mike moved to Georgia near his inlaws once he could face them again, needing some help with his son. Now he's got a job in the local school but he hopes to get a job at the boarding school.[/size]
