Abigail was really excited. It was the saturday before classes were to start and she had reserved a dance studio in the art complex for a couple of hours for the first time. She was especially excited because instead of having her mom breathing down her neck the whole time and making her focus on every little detail, she was doing it on her own and she was allowed to have a little fun, to play around with the music and choreography. For this purpose, today's practice was simply for fun. No rehearsal for an audition or practice for competition; just pure dancing for fun.
Abigail made her way out of her dorm and towards the art complex it was a chilly day, but Abigail was all warm and fuzzy on the inside as her excitement boiled over. She hadn't danced in a couple of days, and for Abigail, that felt like a century. With all the moving, she just hadn't had the time to do any practicing, but boy was she ready to get right back into it.
As Abigail approached the Art Complex, she could feel her excitement boil within her and she accidentally let out a squeal of delight as she reached the doors. She blushed when she heard herself and hoped no one around her thought she was weird or odd because she was so excited. Abigail continued through the doors and to the dance studios. She walked down the hallway until she found the right door. She stepped inside and smiled at the room around her. It wasn't quite what she was expecting, but it would do just fine. What mattered was her dancing, anyway, not the quality of the wallpaper behind the mirrors or what the bars looked like or how powerful the sound system was.
Abigail set up her iPod to play music from The Nutcracker; it was her tradition stretching music. She let the music fill her soul until she heard a noise...
And it's o k a y
