Abigail woke up to her iPod playing "Last Friday Night" by Katy Perry. While she was excited to be at Rosewood and away from her mother's watchful eye every minute of every day, she was not excited about the whole "school" deal. As she slowly drug herself out of bed, she reminded herself she had a lot to do to get ready for the day. Her morning routine easily took an hour at least as she showered, blow-dried her hair, put on her routine make-up and hair accessories and figured out what to wear each day.

Abigail finally got ready and headed out of her dorm to her first class ever at Rosewood Academy: Advanced Math/Calculus 2. It was a tough course, but Abigail had always been good with numbers. Any other subject she was simply mediocre at, but when it came to math and numbers, she simply thrived. She wondered who else might be in this class; a bunch of nerds or would she actually get lucky and find someone else as normal as her but good at numbers?

Abigail walked through the halls until she found her room number. As she trickled in behind someone who just oozed geekery she sighed and sat down in the middle seat of second row from the back. Not too close to anyone yet, but not far enough back to give a bad impression. She simply opened up her backpack and pulled out her notebook designated for Cal 2: a girly purple notebook with a glittery front. One or two others trickled in, but that was it for the time being. Abigail didn't expect a big class; most high school students only get through Pre-Cal, anyway. But still, a girl could dream as she waited for her possible new best friend or prince charming to come along...
