build 5'4" and slender, fit, but not terribly muscular
eyes: gray-blue and very expressive
hair: long, brown, naturally straight, usually worn with bangs
distinguishing features: her eyes, and a light smattering of freckles over her nose
tattoos and piercings: one hole in each ear
personal style: She generally caries on a fairly prim look. Bridget likes dresses and skirts, but she does wear jeans fairly often, too. She usually doesn't wear anything overly fitted or too low-cut. And she rarely wears sneakers or heels. Most of her shoes are some variation of ballet flats.
appearance: Dancing has taught her fantastic posture, but that's about the most remarkable thing where her appearance is concerned. She crosses her arms a lot and has a tendency to stare at her toes when she's in large groups.

do you think you're right,wronged,
or do you think you'll fight?
or do you think you'll fight?
dislikes: overly loud sounds, being in large crowds (except when she's performing), booze, drugs, liars, being stared at (it makes her nervous), bikinis (they make her self-conscious), pickles, diets, opera, being dirty, rap, feeling stuck, getting lost
fears: never falling in love/being loved in return, losing her loved ones (by moving or to death), spiders, snakes
desires: to actually feel comfortable in her own skin, to fall in love and start a family, to be genuinely happy
top five character traits:
optimistic Bridget generally looks for the best in everyone, and she's usually able to find something good about anyone she meets. She strives to encourage others, and generally hopes for the best in every situation, even if it seems unlikely.
studious Being from a typical middle class family, Bridget knows she'll never go to college if she doesn't get a scholarship. As such, she devoted herself to her studies at a young age. She's one of those kids who never misses school and manages to turn in every single assignment. She's just as dedicated to her dance classes as she is to her academic classes, as well.
dreamer It's not that she's impractical, really. But she sees no harm in endeavoring to do something that most people think is impossible. Hence the reason she's applied to RWA. She's not rich enough to buy her way in, but she likes to think that maybe her talent will be enough to get her in and to win her a scholarship.
attentive Bridget does her best to make sure she is attentive in every area of her life, tying up any loose ends related to school or to dance. Besides this, she is a very attentive and loyal friend. She's a very good listener, and she can always be counted on to be there in times of need.
romantic This is something that tends to go along with her nature as a dreamer.
She is wholeheartedly devoted to the idea of finding true love, and she's a big believer in chivalry. Consequently, she's very picky about the guys she allows herself to be with. Currently, she's so picky as to have never seriously dated anyone.

history: Alyssa Moore wasn't really the type to sleep around. She wasn't the type to give it up on the first date, either. Actually, she'd been seeing Peter for four months when they first slept together, and by the time they'd been dating for six months, she was pregnant. In Alyssa's mind, the best way to approach the situation was to get married and take this cue to start a family. In Peter's mind, the best approach was to walk out, which is precisely what he did, leaving Alyssa alone to handle the baby. Unpleasant as the situation was, Alyssa devoted herself to making the best life she could for herself and her daughter. Initially, she'd moved in with her parents for a while as she got things in order. When Bridget was three, they moved into their own home, which was painfully tiny, but was at least their own. Alyssa also bought a small building in town, which she transformed into a florist.
Money was tight growing up, and Bridget learned to be thrifty, but she made things work. When she was little, her grandparents fronted the money to put her in dance classes so that she wouldn't be left at home alone while her mother worked long hours. The cash flow stopped, though, when she turned thirteen and Bridget started babysitting and doing odd jobs for neighbors to continue paying for the lessons. When she was sixteen, she started waitressing. Her life has been a pretty constant blur of school, dance classes, and work since then. The only thing she always makes time for is seeing her best friend, Seth. The two are very different and don't exactly hang out in the hallways at school, but they each know that the other is the only person they can always count on.
Last year, Bridget applied to RWA in hopes of being accepted into their dance program. With little money and a rather unknown family name, she knew there wasn't a lot of hope that she'd be accepted. However, she received notice that she'd been wait listed and was allowed to apply for scholarships. She's just received a letter from the school indicating that she is fourth in line for placement in RWA next year, and that she should schedule a scholarship audition. Bridget has yet to share this information with her mother or with Seth, as she is afraid that changing schools will take her away from them.
